The holiday season can be a time of joy but also a time of unique challenges. To ensure that every family has access to the support and items needed to celebrate this season, below is a list of resources:
Food Pantries
The West View HUB’s Food Pantry is open Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m. The West View HUB is located at 435 Perry Highway in West View.
North Hills Community Outreach operates three food pantries in Allison Park, Millvale and Avalon. Dates and hours of operation are posted on the NHCO website.
Holiday Gifts, Food Baskets & Dinners
The United Way’s PA 211 connects families with holiday resources including gifts and toys, take home food baskets, and free holiday dinners. Sign up is required. Learn more and find a program near you at this link.
