Teachers and staff returned to start the 2024-25 school year on Wednesday, August 14.
The day began with a district-wide presentation in the North Hills Middle School auditorium with performances by the North Hills Marching Band and Choir and concluded with lunch from several food trucks.
This year’s theme was “Educate, Support and Give,” and the day included a wellness fair and scavenger hunt during which employees could win prizes including highly sought-after comp days.
Among initiatives for the upcoming school year is the revamping of the North Hills Foundation and Rally Days that encourage employees and community members alike to consider donating to the foundation to fund various initiatives including capital improvement projects and student scholarships.
