Len Lavelle has been named the Pittsburgh-area winner of the Manilow Music Project Teacher Award and will receive $10,000 to benefit our music programs.

Highcliff Elementary School has made history, becoming the first school in Allegheny County to be recognized as a Heart Safe School through Project ADAM, a national program focused on preventing sudden cardiac death in children and teens.

The annual PSSA tests all students in grades 3-8 in English Language Arts and math, and students in grades 5 and 8 in science.
